ABOUT JDP
We are Jacob and Jenny Dean, and this is the quick version of our story to share with you.
Before the 2006 opening of Jacob Dean Photography, we both attended and graduated from Clemson University. We met through mutual friends and knew we were meant to be together. On July 10, 2004, we married on the hottest day EVER with an indoor ceremony at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in downtown Clemson and amazing reception at the Owen Pavilion at Clemson's Madren Center. We now have two precious boys, Wylie and Harris, and when we are not taking pictures, we enjoy spending time together as a family.
We have been in business since 2006 and have enjoyed every friendship we have made with clients along the way. We are located in Clemson, South Carolina, and some of our favorite places for photo sessions are the South Carolina Botanical Garden, Clemson University, and anywhere that is special to our clients.
Meet Us:
Jacob is a Clemson native who graduated from D. W. Daniel high school in 1998. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Clemson University in 2003 for Elementary Education. After teaching for 3 years, Jacob realized that his passion for photography had reached a new level and had become more than just a hobby for him. He is the primary photographer for Jacob Dean Photography, and when he's not taking pictures, he can be found spending time with his family or playing golf at Clemson's Walker Course.
Jenny is originally from Chapin, South Carolina and a 1995 graduate from Chapin High School. She moved to the upstate of South Carolina to attend Clemson University, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Communications with a minor in Business Administration. She also holds a Master's Degree in Reading. She is a certified secondary English teacher and has been teaching since 2001. She is a secondary photographer for Jacob Dean Photography and has been shooting weddings alongside her husband since 2006.
